FAA Issues Runway Crossing Clearance Changes
Effective June 30, 2010, air traffic controllers will no longer use the term “taxi to” when authorizing aircraft to taxi to an assigned takeoff runway. Stinson Fly-in a Success.
Saturday’s Fly-in was dampened a bit by low ceilings in the morning, but we had two vintage Stinson aircraft on the ramp, and the Mooney crowd supported us nicely with at least six Mooneys making an appearance. We’re looking forward to our next fly-in this fall. Stay tuned for more information!

Runway 9 / 27 Re-opens for Operations!
Well, it’s official! The runway extension for 9/27 will be officially completed tomorrow and a ribbon-cutting ceremony for local dignitaries is scheduled for Friday, March 12th at 2:30 p.m. in front of the tower.
